ACAR CABLE | Product Standards
Used as bare overhead transmission cable and as primary and secondary distribution cable. A good strength-to-weight ratio makes ACAR applicable where both ampacity and strength are prime considerations in line design; for equal weight, ACAR offers higher strength and ampacity than ACSR.
ACAR CABLE | Product Features
1.1350 H-19 wires concentrically stranded around a 6201-T81 aluminum alloy core.
2.Some designs have 1350 aluminum wires and 6201 alloy wires intercalated in the same layer.
3.Aluminum wire / Alloy Core Strands: 4/3, 12/7, 18/19, 30/7, 54/7, 42/19, 24/37, 54/37, 72/19.
